Instructions
- Mix 240 ml warm water and 1 tablespoon brown sugar until dissolved. Add 1.5 teaspoons of instant yeast and wait 5-10 minutes until bubbles form.
- Combine 2 cups (approximately 240 g) flour and 0.5 teaspoon salt in a large bowl.
- Add the yeast mixture to the dry ingredients and stir with a wooden spoon until the flour is mostly incorporated.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for 10-15 minutes until it is elastic and smooth.
- Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and let rise in a warm place until doubled in size.
- Remove the risen dough to a floured surface and divide it into 15 equal pieces.
- Shape each piece into a strand, twist it from the top, and seal the ends well. Place the shaped donuts on a plate or baking sheet.
- Prepare a plate with paper towels and a container with 120 ml sugar and 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon.
- Heat oil in a pan and fry the donuts, being careful not to overcrowd the pan.
- Drain the fried donuts on paper towels for a few seconds.
- Roll the donuts immediately in the cinnamon-sugar mixture until fully coated.
- Serve the cinnamon donuts warm.

These donuts are best enjoyed fresh and warm from the fryer. Store leftovers in an airtight container to maintain freshness.
