- 480 g Rice Krispies
- 240 ml peanut butter
- 240 ml corn syrup
- 200 g sugar
- 240 ml chocolate chips
- 240 ml M&Ms (plus extra for topping)
Instructions
- Prepare a 9×13 inch baking pan by lining it with parchment paper.
- Combine corn syrup and sugar in a medium saucepan over medium heat, stirring constantly until sugar dissolves and mixture bubbles lightly.
- Add peanut butter to the saucepan, and remove from heat, stirring until smooth and creamy.
- Mix Rice Krispies in a large bowl, then pour the warm peanut butter mixture over cereal and gently fold until fully coated.
- Spoon the Rice Krispie mixture into the prepared pan, pressing it down firmly and evenly.
- Sprinkle chocolate chips and M&Ms over the warm mixture, pressing them gently so they stick.
- Cool completely in the pan, then cut into squares and serve.
Notes
Use fresh Rice Krispies for the best texture, and make sure to let the treats cool completely before cutting.
