- 1 package strawberry gelatin (85 g)
- 240 ml boiling water
- 240 ml cold water
- 226 g cream cheese, softened
- 360 ml heavy cream
- 120 g powdered sugar
- 5 ml vanilla extract
- 18-20 golden Oreos, coarsely crushed
- 60 ml unsalted butter, melted
- 1 package strawberry gelatin powder (85 g)
- Fresh strawberries for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F).
- Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan thoroughly.
- Prepare the white cake mix according to package instructions.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread it evenly.
- Bake according to package instructions (usually 25-30 minutes). Use a toothpick to check for doneness.
- Cool the cake completely before proceeding.
- Use a fork or skewer to poke holes in the cake (2-3 cm apart).
- Dissolve the strawberry gelatin in boiling water, then add cold water.
- Pour the gelatin mixture evenly over the cake.
- Refrigerate the cake for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- In a bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth.
- Whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla until stiff peaks form.
- Fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture.
- Spread the frosting evenly over the chilled cake.
- Mix crushed Oreos, melted butter, and gelatin powder in a bowl.
- Sprinkle the Oreo mixture over the frosting and press lightly to adhere.
- Serve chilled and enjoy!
Notes
For a crunchy topping, prepare it just before serving. Garnish with fresh strawberries for a decorative touch.
